Why Canna Coco A&B Is the Reference Standard for Coco Nutrition

Coco coir has a unique chemistry compared to soil or inert hydroponic media. Its high cation exchange capacity binds calcium and magnesium preferentially, making nutrients formulated for other growing media consistently underperform in coco. Canna developed their Coco A&B formulation specifically for coco coir’s ionic behaviour, providing elevated calcium availability, optimised calcium-to-magnesium ratios, and a micronutrient chelation strategy designed for the pH range and buffering capacity of coco. The result is a system that consistently delivers deficiency-free, vigorous growth in coco from seedling through to harvest — with none of the calcium and magnesium problems that plague growers using soil or hydroponic nutrients in coco. How to Use Canna Coco A or B 10 Litre

Always mix Canna Coco A and B in equal quantities. Add Part A to your reservoir first, stir, then add Part B — never mix concentrated A and B directly together. Use at 2–4 ml per litre throughout the grow cycle, increasing to 3–5 ml per litre during peak flowering. Maintain pH at 5.8–6.2 in coco. Feed to 20–30% run-off at each watering to prevent salt accumulation. Supplement with Canna Rhizotonic and Cannaboost for the complete Canna programme.
