FILTER STAND 100-200CM is the adjustable steel support stand that allows growers to position their carbon filter at exactly the right height within the grow room — suspended above the canopy for optimal warm-air extraction without relying solely on rope hangers or grow tent frame anchors. We have been recommending filter stands to UK growers since 2017 because hanging a heavy carbon filter from tent crossbars alone puts stress on the frame joints; a dedicated stand distributes the load to the floor and extends the life of both your tent and your filter.

Why Carbon Filter Positioning Matters

Hot, humid air rises. Positioning your carbon filter and extraction fan at the highest point in your grow room means you are pulling the warmest, most odour-laden air through the activated carbon bed first, maximising filtration efficiency and keeping the environment cooler and drier at canopy level. Setting Up the Filter Stand

Extend the stand to the appropriate height for your space, ensuring the filter’s inlet is positioned at or near the top of the grow area. Place the stand on a stable, level surface and position the filter’s flange to align with your in-line fan connection. Route ducting with as few bends as possible — each 90-degree bend in ducting reduces airflow efficiency by approximately 20%. Secure ducting with jubilee clips at both the fan and filter connections to prevent leaks that would allow unfiltered air to bypass the carbon bed.
