Description

The Airfan Thermo 200 1500m3 Straight-Through is a professionally specified EC inline fan in the 200mm (8-inch) duct size format, rated at 1,500 cubic metres per hour in the straight-through configuration that minimises pressure drop through the fan housing for maximum airflow efficiency. The 200mm diameter and 1,500 m3/h capacity make this an appropriate specification for large single-room growing setups and compact commercial operations where 150mm fan capacity has been outgrown but the full Thermo 250 series would be disproportionate to the room volume.

The straight-through internal configuration means the airflow path passes directly through the centre of the motor hub without directional change, minimising turbulence within the fan housing and reducing the pressure drop across the unit. This translates to a higher proportion of rated airflow actually being delivered at the duct system’s operating static pressure — a more accurate representation of real-world performance. EC motor technology provides variable speed control across the full output range without the noise penalties associated with AC fans on traditional speed controllers.

The Thermo construction quality is specified for commercial use — bearings, motor windings, and housing are all rated for sustained continuous-duty operation over multiple growing seasons.
