CANNA MONO MAGNESIUM 1 LITRE is CANNA’s concentrated single-element magnesium supplement, providing a fast-acting, directly available magnesium source for plants showing deficiency symptoms or for growers using RO water who need to build their own mineral base from scratch. Why Magnesium Deficiency Is So Common in Hydro and Coco

Magnesium is a central component of the chlorophyll molecule — without adequate magnesium, the plant cannot produce the pigment that drives photosynthesis, and leaves begin to yellow between the veins while the veins themselves remain green (interveinal chlorosis). In hydroponic and coco systems, magnesium deficiency is particularly common because coco’s cation exchange sites preferentially bind magnesium, and because many standard hydroponic base nutrients do not include sufficient magnesium for the demands of fast-growing, high-light-intensity crops. Growers using RO water start with zero magnesium in their input water, meaning the full requirement must come from the nutrient solution. Application and Dosage

Add CANNA Mono Magnesium at 1–3ml per litre when interveinal chlorosis is observed on middle or lower canopy leaves, or as a preventative supplement at 0.5–1ml per litre in any system using RO water with a base nutrient that does not specify elevated magnesium levels. Check EC before and after addition. Pair with CANNA Mono Calcium if calcium deficiency is also suspected — calcium and magnesium deficiencies frequently occur together in coco and RO-water systems. Foliar application at 1ml per litre during the lights-off period provides faster correction of acute deficiency than root drench alone.
