GorillaBox Tent 3.0 x 3.0 x 2.2m is a large-format, professional-grade grow tent that we have been supplying to UK commercial growers since 2017. GorillaBox tents are engineered to a specification that goes beyond standard grow tent construction — the extra-thick steel frame, heavy canvas outer, double-stitched seams and robust zipper system are designed for the demands of commercial cultivation where the tent is a permanent, continuously occupied growing infrastructure rather than an occasional hobby setup. At 3.0m x 3.0m with 2.2m height, this is one of the largest enclosed growing environments we offer.

What Distinguishes GorillaBox Commercial Build Quality

The frame of a 3m x 3m grow tent must span significant distances and carry substantial hanging loads — multiple large LED fixtures, carbon filters, ducting and fans can collectively weigh 50–100kg distributed across the overhead structure. Frame poles that deflect or joints that loosen under this load create light leaks at tent-corner junctions, compromise the structural support of heavy equipment and eventually lead to frame failure. GorillaBox uses heavy-gauge steel poles with reinforced locking joints rated for commercial grow room loads — the frame maintains its geometry and light-seal integrity under the maximum expected equipment loading without deformation. The thick canvas outer blocks all light penetration for reliable photoperiod control, and the multiple ventilation ports accommodate 200–315mm ducting for the substantial extraction requirements of a 9m² grow space.

Climate Management and Equipment for a 3m x 3m Space

A 3.0 x 3.0m enclosed grow space with high-output lighting generates a substantial heat and humidity load. For effective climate management, plan for a 315mm extraction fan and carbon filter rated for at least 3,000 m³/h, multiple circulation fans to prevent hot spots and stratification, and a dehumidifier for late flowering. Use with commercial-grade LED fixtures such as the Gavita Pro 1700e or equivalent for maximum light output per square metre. Install all electrical systems to a professional standard with suitably rated contactors and timers.
