Description

Stackable Drying Rack is a professional multi-tier harvest drying solution that we have been supplying to UK growers since 2017 for drying harvested material efficiently in a controlled environment. The stackable design allows multiple layers to be assembled vertically, maximising the drying capacity within a limited grow room or drying space footprint. Each mesh tier provides excellent air circulation around drying material from all sides, promoting even moisture evaporation and reducing drying time compared to hanging single stems or laying material on solid surfaces.

Why Proper Drying Conditions Define Final Product Quality

The drying and curing phase is as important to final product quality as any stage of the growing cycle. Drying too fast — high temperature, low humidity, excessive airflow — causes the outer surface of buds or flowers to dry before the inner moisture can migrate outward, trapping chlorophyll and producing harsh, green-tasting material. Drying too slowly — high humidity, poor airflow — creates conditions ideal for Botrytis and other fungal pathogens that can destroy an entire harvest in days. The optimal drying environment is 18–20°C, 55–60% relative humidity with gentle air circulation — conditions that allow slow, even moisture migration from the material’s core to its surface. The stackable drying rack’s open mesh construction promotes exactly this gentle, even airflow while keeping material spread flat for uniform drying without compression marks.

Capacity, Assembly and Drying Best Practices

Each rack tier is supported by a hanging cord system that allows tiers to be stacked as many as required for the volume of material being dried. Spread harvested material in a single layer on each tier — do not overlap. Position the assembled rack in your drying environment with a small fan circulating air gently around the outside of the rack, not blowing directly onto the material. Monitor temperature and humidity daily with a min/max thermometer-hygrometer. Hang the rack from tent crossbars or a ceiling hook using the included suspension cord. Clean mesh tiers between uses with a soft brush and isopropyl alcohol wipe.
