The Garden Highpro Profan is a professional clip fan with two speed settings and uses a 100% copper motor for a longer life. It’s strong clip will attach to tubes up to 3cm in diameter. The Profan has an airflow of 305m³/hr.
Oscillation is the feature that separates a clip fan like the ProFan from a fixed desk fan repurposed for grow tent use — instead of pushing air in a single direction and creating one strong, static airflow that can cause localised stem stress or wind-burn on nearby leaves, the head sweeps side to side to distribute movement evenly across the whole canopy. That matters for two reasons: even air movement strengthens stems more uniformly as plants respond to gentle, consistent mechanical stress, and it prevents the stagnant, still-air pockets around dense canopy growth where mould and pest issues tend to start. With two speed settings, the ProFan can run gently during the vegetative stage to encourage stem development without over-stressing young growth, then step up once the canopy fills out and air circulation needs to work harder to reach every part of a denser plant structure. The 100% copper motor is worth noting on a fan that’s likely to run for weeks at a time — copper windings handle sustained use with less heat build-up and a longer service life than the cheaper aluminium-wound motors found in budget alternatives. At 305m³/hr, it’s sized for tent circulation rather than extraction — pair it with a separate inline extraction fan and carbon filter for intake/exhaust, and use the ProFan purely to keep air moving within the tent itself.
