Rope Ratchet Hangers
Rope ratchet hangers (also known as rope rachet hangers or yoyo hangers for lights) are the standard method for hanging grow lights, carbon filters and inline fans in grow tents. They use a ratchet mechanism to allow quick, tool-free height adjustment — simply pull the loop to lower, or press the release button and pull the cord end to raise. Correctly rated rope ratchets hold loads safely while allowing adjustment without needing to re-rig the entire hanging system.
Always use rope ratchets with a rated load capacity that exceeds the weight of the equipment they support. A pair of quality 25kg-rated ratchets provides a generous safety margin for most grow tent installations, including heavy LED fixtures with integrated drivers. Check rope condition regularly — replace hangers if the rope shows fraying or the ratchet mechanism becomes stiff or unreliable.
Fan Clips and Tent Accessories
Clip fans attach directly to grow tent poles, allowing precise positioning at canopy height or near the floor for circulation without taking up floor space.
