CANNA Terra Flores is a professional single-component bloom nutrient formulated specifically for growing in soil and other terrestrial growing media. It is the flowering-stage companion to CANNA Terra Vega, designed to be introduced as plants transition from vegetative growth into the generative phase. CANNA Terra Flores delivers the elevated phosphorus, potassium, and calcium levels that fruiting and flowering plants demand while maintaining the micronutrient profile that supports vigorous development through to harvest.

The Science Behind Terra Flores

Flowering plants have fundamentally different nutritional requirements to vegetating plants. Nitrogen demand drops significantly as vegetative growth slows. Phosphorus requirements increase — phosphorus is a key component of ATP, the energy molecule that drives the intense metabolic activity of flower and fruit development. Potassium demand also rises, regulating water movement throughout the plant and supporting the synthesis of sugars and starches that contribute to final product quality. CANNA Terra Flores is formulated around these shifting demands. The nitrogen-to-phosphorus-to-potassium ratio switches to reflect bloom-phase requirements, providing the elevated PK values that flowering plants need while still supplying adequate nitrogen to support ongoing green plant tissue. CANNA’s research team identified specific micronutrient requirements that become critical during flowering — iron, manganese, and zinc in chelated form ensure these elements remain available at the slightly higher pH ranges common in soil growing.

Transitioning from Terra Vega and Dosage Guidance

Begin introducing Terra Flores as soon as you see the first signs of flowering — typically when pistils first appear or when the plant’s internodal structure changes to a more generative arrangement. You can run Terra Vega and Terra Flores together for one to two weeks during the transition, gradually reducing Vega and increasing Flores. CANNA recommends 25–40ml per 10 litres of water for Terra Flores. Always adjust final solution pH to 6.0–7.0 for soil growing.
