DYNOMYCO Mycorrhizae 100g is a premium concentrated mycorrhizal inoculant that we have been recommending to UK soil and coco growers since 2017 as one of the most effective biological root enhancers available. DYNOMYCO contains a high-concentration blend of Glomus intraradices and Glomus mosseae mycorrhizal fungi — the two species with the broadest plant host range and the most extensively documented beneficial effects on nutrient uptake, root development and stress tolerance. Applied at transplanting or to seedling root zones, DYNOMYCO establishes a permanent, plant-integrated biological extension of the root system that dramatically increases its effective surface area and nutrient-absorbing reach.

The Science of Mycorrhizal Root Extension

Mycorrhizal fungi form an intimate symbiosis with plant roots — hyphae penetrate root cortex cells and simultaneously extend outward into the surrounding substrate, creating a fungal network that can extend the root’s effective exploration radius by up to ten times. These hyphae are far finer than root hairs, able to penetrate micropores in growing medium that roots cannot access, and they actively solubilise phosphorus and access mineral nutrients that are locked in the substrate matrix. In return, the plant allocates 10–20% of its photosynthetic carbohydrate output to feeding the fungal partner. This investment delivers returns that consistently outpace the carbon cost: DYNOMYCO-inoculated plants show measurably improved nutrient uptake efficiency, faster establishment, better drought tolerance and — critically for commercial growers — improved yields per unit of fertiliser input.

Application Method and Compatibility

Apply DYNOMYCO at 2.5g per transplant by dusting directly onto moist roots at the time of transplanting, or pre-mixing into the top layer of growing medium at the root zone. For seeds, mix into the propagation medium. Use once per crop — once established, the mycorrhizal network is self-sustaining. Do not use alongside hydrogen peroxide, strong chemical fertilisers at very high concentrations, or fungicides, which can damage the fungal network. DYNOMYCO is compatible with organic and mineral nutrient programmes and works exceptionally well in combination with Voodoo Juice Plus beneficial bacteria for a complete biological root inoculant strategy.
