Hygrozyme is a professional enzyme solution formulated specifically for hydroponic and soil growing systems — a concentrated blend of cellulases, hemicellulases, xylanases, and protease enzymes that breaks down dead root material, organic debris, and unused nutrients in the root zone into simple, reabsorbable compounds. Clean, enzyme-active root zones are faster-growing, more disease-resistant, and more efficiently nutrient-absorbing than zones where organic debris is allowed to accumulate unchecked.

Hygrozyme’s Enzyme System Explained

Unlike single-enzyme products that target only one type of organic material, Hygrozyme contains a multi-enzyme system that breaks down the complete range of organic compounds found in dead root tissue and growing medium debris. Cellulases attack cellulose — the structural carbohydrate of plant cell walls. Hemicellulases break down the associated hemicelluloses. Xylanases target xylan, the primary component of the secondary cell walls of vascular tissue. Protease enzymes break down proteins in dead cellular material. Together, these four enzyme types convert dead root cells and organic debris into glucose, amino acids, and simple sugars that beneficial microbes and active plant roots can reabsorb as nutrition. This decomposition eliminates the habitat and food source for pathogenic organisms that colonise dead root material, reduces the biochemical oxygen demand of the growing medium, and maintains the open, oxygenated physical structure that drives vigorous root development. Application Rates and System Compatibility

Use Hygrozyme at 5–10ml per litre in recirculating systems and 3–5ml per litre for soil or coco application. Add to the reservoir with each water change or with each irrigation in non-recirculating systems. Hygrozyme is compatible with all major nutrient brands, all growing media, and all standard hydroponic system designs. Not compatible with sterilising agents or high concentrations of hydrogen peroxide.
