Double-Ended HPS Technology for Maximum Performance

Double-ended HPS lamps differ fundamentally from standard single-ended lamps in their construction and performance characteristics. The 400V DE lamp uses a quartz arc tube sealed at both ends, held under higher gas pressure than single-ended designs. This higher pressure allows the arc tube to operate at higher temperatures, producing higher light output, improved colour rendering and a spectrum that includes more blue and UV output compared to standard HPS.
