Plagron Coco A&B is a professional two-part base nutrient system formulated exclusively for growing on coco coir substrates. Why a Two-Part System Works Best in Coco

Coco-specific two-part nutrient systems keep calcium and phosphate in separate bottles until the point of use. If these ions were combined in a single bottle, they would react together and form insoluble calcium phosphate — removing both from solution before they ever reached plant roots. Part A contains calcium and nitrogen; Part B contains phosphate, potassium, and magnesium. Mix them together in water and you get a complete, chemically stable nutrient solution every time. Plagron has calibrated the A&B ratio specifically for coco’s natural tendency to exchange sodium and potassium with your nutrient solution. The formulation accounts for this ion exchange dynamic, providing the correct calcium excess and potassium balance to produce consistently healthy plants without the calcium deficiency problems that poorly formulated coco nutrients can cause. Mixing, Application, and Complementary Products

Plagron recommends using equal volumes of Coco A and Coco B — always add each component separately to your water before mixing the two together. The standard feed rate is 3–4ml per litre of each component during vegetative growth, increasing to 4–5ml per litre during flowering. Always pH-adjust your final solution to 5.8–6.2 for optimal nutrient availability in coco. Coco A&B is suitable for all coco growing methods: hand-watering, drippers, flood and drain, and NFT. It works equally well in processed coco-perlite blends.
