ProBox Propagator Large 60cm x 40cm x 200cm is a purpose-built, full-height propagation enclosure that we have been supplying to UK professional propagators and clone-scale growers since 2017. Unlike standard shallow humidity domes designed for a single tray of cuttings, the ProBox Propagator’s 200cm height accommodates full-sized propagation lighting, fans and heating equipment inside the enclosure — creating a complete, self-contained controlled environment for large-volume cutting production or seedling growth at commercial scale.

Why a Full-Height Propagation Enclosure Transforms Cutting Success Rates

Standard propagation domes and trays create humidity but offer little control over temperature, light spectrum, or air movement — and their small volume means conditions fluctuate rapidly with minor environmental changes outside the dome. The ProBox Propagator’s large enclosed volume buffers these fluctuations, maintaining stable temperature and humidity more consistently than a shallow tray. The 200cm height allows a dedicated T5 or LED propagation panel to be hung inside at the correct distance from the canopy — providing optimal light intensity and spectrum for rooting without the spectral compromise of a single over-door LED strip or a distant overhead fixture. A small circulation fan inside the enclosure creates the gentle air movement that strengthens stem structure and reduces pathogen pressure without stressing unrooted cuttings.

Setup, Compatible Equipment and Applications

The ProBox Propagator assembles from a fabric-covered frame with zip access and ventilation ports. Install a dedicated propagation light (T5 or LED, 40–60W), a small circulation fan and a heatmat or heated propagation tray inside. Maintain 22–26°C, 80–90% RH for optimal cutting development. Use with Root !T propagation plugs or Jiffy-7 peat plugs, Clonex rooting gel and a Root !T heat mat for a complete professional propagation setup capable of producing large numbers of uniform, healthy cuttings consistently.
