Description
Pronet Modulable Support Netting is a professional, flexible canopy training and support net designed to be positioned horizontally across your growing space at canopy height, providing a grid of support points for branches and bud sites that guides plant growth into an even, productive canopy structure while providing the physical support that prevents branch collapse under the weight of developing buds in the late flowering phase.
Why Canopy Netting Transforms Growing Results
Scrog (Screen of Green) training using a horizontal support net is one of the most effective techniques available for maximising yield from a given growing area under a given light. The horizontal net intercepts branches as they grow upward and guides them laterally through the mesh — spreading the canopy across the full footprint of the growing area and presenting all bud sites at an approximately equal distance from the light source. This creates a large, even canopy where every bud site receives comparable light intensity, rather than the typical Christmas tree structure where upper sites receive intense direct light while lower sites are shaded. The difference in light utilisation efficiency between a well-trained scrog canopy and an untrained plant can be very significant, particularly under higher-powered lighting where the reduction in light at depth through the canopy is dramatic. As flowering progresses and bud weight increases, the net also provides physical support that prevents branch bowing and collapse — doing the work that individual branch supports or YoYos would otherwise perform. At The Horticulture Company we recommend netting to growers looking to maximise their yield from every watt of lighting they run.
Modulable Design and Practical Installation
Pronet Modulable netting is adjustable and expandable, allowing it to be configured for different growing space dimensions without cutting or permanent modification. The modular panels attach together to cover spaces of any size, and can be adjusted as the grow progresses. Install at 20–30cm above the growing medium at the start of vegetative growth to begin training branches through the net from an early stage, building a dense, even canopy before switching to flowering.
