SQUARE TO ROUND POT

Description

The Square-to-Round Pot Adaptor is a simple but useful growing accessory that allows square-bodied growing containers to be used in systems that require round pot bases — including round drainage saucers, recirculating tray systems designed for round pots, and growing rack layouts that use circular apertures or pot holders. At a fraction of the cost of replacing entire pot sets, it allows growers to adapt their existing container inventory to new growing system configurations without waste.

Square pots offer a well-known advantage over round pots of the same nominal volume: better use of tray and bench space, with less dead space between containers and more growing medium per square metre. However, many flood-and-drain trays, recirculating systems, and growing racks are designed around round pot footprints, creating a compatibility problem when growers want to use square containers. The square-to-round adaptor bridges this gap, fitting over the base of a square pot to create a round profile that sits correctly in round-pot-designed systems.

The adaptors are moulded from food-safe polypropylene, are resistant to nutrient solution chemistry, and can be cleaned and reused across multiple grow cycles.
