Description
Carbo Load by Advanced Nutrients is a concentrated carbohydrate supplement designed to be used throughout the flowering cycle to support explosive bud development and improve the density and quality of finished flowers. It provides a blend of simple and complex sugars including glucose, fructose, and longer-chain polysaccharides which serve multiple functions in both the plant and the rhizosphere.
During flowering, plants have an enormous demand for carbohydrates as energy currency. Photosynthesis alone can struggle to meet the metabolic demands of high-performance genetics in the peak bloom phase, particularly in indoor environments where light intensity and CO2 levels may be limiting factors. Carbo Load supplements this energy supply directly, fuelling the enzymatic processes that drive flower development and helping plants maintain full metabolic output through the heaviest weeks of the bloom cycle.
Beyond the plant itself, the sugars in Carbo Load feed the beneficial microbial populations in the root zone. Beneficial bacteria and fungi — including the Trichoderma and mycorrhizal species that colonise healthy root systems — depend on carbohydrate inputs to sustain their colonies. A thriving root-zone microbiome improves nutrient uptake efficiency, enhances pathogen resistance, and releases organic acids that help make locked-up minerals bioavailable.
Carbo Load works best when used alongside a quality bloom booster such as Big Bud Liquid and a microbial inoculant like Tarantula or Piranha.
