COMBI DUCTING 125MM (5″)

Description

Combi Ducting 125mm (5″) is a flexible aluminium spiral-wire reinforced duct for grow room extraction and ventilation systems using 125mm diameter inline fans. We have been supplying Combi flexible ducting to UK growers since 2017 as a reliable, standard-specification ducting material for ventilation system construction in grow tents and grow rooms of all sizes.

Standard Flexible Ducting for 125mm Extraction Systems

Combi 125mm flexible ducting is compatible with the 125mm RVK and Isomax fan range that covers the extraction requirements of 1m x 1m to 1.5m x 1.5m grow tent systems. The spiral wire reinforcement prevents collapse under the negative pressure that inline fans generate when drawing air through carbon filters and ducting runs, maintaining full circular cross-section throughout the duct length for unrestricted airflow. The aluminium construction is chemically resistant to nutrient-laden humid air and does not absorb or retain odours over time.

Flexible aluminium ducting is the practical choice for most grow room installation scenarios — it routes easily around obstacles, can be compressed for short-term storage and transport, and connects to fan flanges and filter collars with Fast Clamps and aluminium tape without requiring specialist tools or fittings. For applications where noise transmission through the duct wall is a concern, the equivalent 125mm insulated ducting provides the same airflow capacity with acoustic attenuation.

Length, Routing and Joints

Available in metre lengths to suit your specific installation run requirements. Cut to length with tin snips or strong scissors. Keep runs as straight and short as possible for maximum airflow, and seal all joints with Fast Clamps and aluminium tape for an airtight installation. Avoid tight kinking of the duct — maintain adequate bend radius to prevent spiral wire distortion that permanently reduces duct diameter at the bend point.
