DAYLIGHT 600W CMH AGRO 3K LAMP is the Ceramic Metal Halide flowering-spectrum lamp that represents the most significant advance in grow room lighting technology since the introduction of HPS. The Daylight 600W CMH requires a compatible CMH/LEC ballast — standard HPS ballasts are not compatible. Dedicated CMH ballasts are available from Lumatek, Gavita, and several other manufacturers in 315W and 630W configurations; 600W CMH requires a specifically rated 600W CMH ballast. Use with a ceramic-rated reflector designed for CMH lamps — standard HPS aluminium reflectors can accommodate CMH bulbs but dedicated CMH reflectors optimise spectral distribution more effectively. Replace the lamp at 20,000 hours or two years of operation for consistent output.
