Description
DutchPro Soil Grow for Soft Water & RO is a two-part vegetative base nutrient from DutchPro, formulated for soil-grown plants using soft tap water or reverse osmosis (RO) water during the growth phase. We have been recommending DutchPro’s professionally matched hard/soft water nutrient system to UK soil growers since 2017 as a precise and analytically developed feeding programme that eliminates the guesswork from nutrient mixing.
Soft Water Grow Nutrition for Soil Systems
Growers using soft water or RO water have maximum control over the mineral profile of their nutrient solution, as they are starting from a near-zero mineral baseline. However, this also means they must supply every mineral their plants need — including all calcium and magnesium — entirely through their nutrient programme. DutchPro Soil Grow for Soft Water & RO is formulated with the complete calcium and magnesium content required for healthy vegetative growth, calibrated to deliver a correctly proportioned mineral profile when mixed with water that contains minimal background minerals.
The two-part system — Parts A and B — keeps incompatible components separated until diluted. Mix equal parts at the recommended dose, adjust to soil-appropriate pH (6.0–6.8), and apply to your plants. DutchPro’s formulations are developed to commercial greenhouse standards — each batch is tested and certified for consistent mineral ratios, giving you the same results every time you mix a reservoir.
Transition and Programme Compatibility
Apply from established vegetative growth through to the end of the vegetative phase. Transition to DutchPro Soil Bloom for Soft Water & RO when switching to 12/12 photoperiod. Complement the base nutrient programme with DutchPro Take Root during early growth, DutchPro Multi Total for organic and micronutrient supplementation, and DutchPro Explode during early bloom.
Compatible with all DutchPro additives and most third-party bloom boosters. An excellent foundation nutrient for UK growers with soft water supplies or those using RO filtration systems.
