Description

Air Freshener 750ml is a grow room odour neutraliser that we have been supplying to UK indoor growers since 2017 for masking and neutralising the organic odours associated with growing plants in enclosed spaces. While a properly maintained carbon filter and extraction system is the primary odour control method in any grow room, an air freshener provides a complementary tool for managing residual odours in the immediate grow room environment — in drying rooms, equipment storage areas, or during the brief periods between carbon filter changes when filter efficiency has dropped.

Odour Management Beyond the Carbon Filter

Carbon filters address odours in extracted air — they are effective at treating airborne odour compounds in the extraction stream as air passes through the activated carbon bed. However, they do not neutralise odours already present in the room air, on equipment surfaces or in the drying room where harvested material is processing. During drying, a significant volume of aromatic terpenes is released from drying plant material — far more than the carbon filter in the grow room (which is now idle as the plants are removed) can treat. An air freshener applied in the drying room neutralises these terpene releases directly, preventing odour build-up in an enclosed space without the need to run a full extraction system at full power through the drying period. The 750ml size provides a generous supply for multiple applications across a typical drying and harvest period.

Application and Complementary Products

Spray in the air of the affected space rather than directly onto plant material or equipment. Reapply as needed when odour levels rise. For permanent grow room odour control, the only reliable solution is a correctly sized and maintained carbon filter and extraction fan combination. Use a fresh Phresh carbon filter and ensure the filter CFM rating matches your fan output for maximum efficiency. Replace filter carbon annually or when effectiveness noticeably declines.
