Description
ONA Block 170g is a highly effective solid odour neutraliser used by UK growers to control unwanted smells in grow rooms, equipment storage areas and surrounding spaces without masking agents or aerosols. We have been recommending ONA odour neutralising products to our customers since 2017 as a reliable, passive odour control solution that works continuously without any power source or maintenance.
How ONA Neutralises Odours
ONA (Odour Neutralising Agent) works through a proprietary blend of essential oils and naturally derived compounds that chemically interact with and neutralise odour molecules in the surrounding air rather than simply masking them with a stronger competing scent. When placed in an area where odour is present, the active compounds from the ONA block volatilise slowly into the air and bind to odour-causing molecules, eliminating them at a molecular level.
The 170g block format provides weeks of continuous, passive odour control without any power source, fan or spray mechanism required. The solid format releases active compounds gradually and evenly, providing consistent performance throughout the product’s lifespan rather than the burst-then-fade pattern of aerosol products. As the block reduces in size and the scent weakens, it is a straightforward visual indicator that replacement is approaching.
Placement and Application
Position ONA blocks in enclosed equipment cabinets, near extraction fan outlets, or in the surrounding room or corridor where odours may escape. For maximum effectiveness, keep the block in a location with reasonable airflow to distribute the active compounds throughout the space. ONA products are not recommended for placement inside the grow tent itself during flowering, as the terpene compounds can affect the aroma profile of sensitive crops — use outside the grow space for best results.
Available in multiple fragrances including Fresh Linen and Apple Crumble. Pair with a quality carbon filter and inline fan for comprehensive odour management. The ONA block provides a secondary and emergency control layer where mechanical extraction alone is not sufficient.
