Description

The Gorilla Min/Max Thermometer and Hygrometer with Probe is a reliable climate monitoring tool for grow rooms and grow tents where tracking the full range of temperature and humidity — not just the current reading — is essential for diagnosing problems and dialling in your environment accurately. The remote probe design allows you to position the sensor exactly where you need it, whether that is at canopy level, inside a propagator, or close to the root zone, while reading the display from outside the tent. It is one of the most practical ways to keep a proper record of grow room conditions between visits.

Min/Max Memory: The Feature That Makes All the Difference

A standard thermometer tells you what temperature it is right now. A min/max thermometer tells you the highest and lowest temperature and humidity your grow room has reached since you last reset it — which is the data that actually matters for diagnosing stress. High maximum temperatures during the light period often explain slow growth and leaf curl. Low overnight minimums are a common cause of slow root development and increased disease susceptibility. The Gorilla min/max unit stores both values so you can check them at any time and reset once you have noted the readings.

Remote Probe for Accurate Canopy-Level Readings

The probe separates the sensor from the display unit, which is important in grow rooms where the display itself generates a small amount of heat that can skew readings. Position the probe at plant canopy height — where temperature and humidity matter most — and mount the display on the outside of the tent where it is easy to read without disturbing the grow.
