Hydrotops Bioponic Hydro Bloom for Hard Water is a two-part professional hydroponic flowering nutrient formulated specifically for use with hard water sources — mains tap water in areas with high calcium and magnesium carbonate content. Correctly Balanced Nutrition for Hard Water Sources

In hard water areas of the UK — which includes much of England — tap water already contains 150–350ppm of dissolved calcium and magnesium carbonates. A nutrient formulated for pure or soft water will result in severe calcium excess when mixed with hard water, disrupting the overall mineral balance and creating antagonistic deficiencies of other nutrients. The Hard Water formulation reduces the calcium and magnesium contribution from the nutrient itself, resulting in a correctly proportioned final solution when mixed with your local tap water.

Application and Programme Integration

Mix Parts A and B in equal proportions at the manufacturer’s recommended rate, check EC and pH (target 5.8–6.2 in hydroponics, 6.0–6.5 in coco), and adjust as needed before feeding. Apply from the start of the flowering stage through to one week before flush.
