HydroTops Bioponic Hydro Grow for Soft Water is a premium organic-based hydroponic nutrient specifically formulated for use with soft water (below 0.4 mS/cm EC) that we have been supplying to UK growers since 2017. What Makes HydroTops Bioponic Different from Standard Hydroponic Nutrients

Conventional hydroponic nutrients are purely mineral — they provide plant-available ions in solution but contribute nothing to the biological life of the root zone. HydroTops Bioponic nutrients incorporate organic matter, amino acids and naturally derived compounds alongside the mineral nutrient profile, creating a root environment that supports beneficial microbial communities rather than relying on a sterile mineral solution alone. The result is a more complex, biologically active root zone where mycorrhizal fungi, beneficial bacteria and the plant’s own root exudates interact in ways that improve nutrient uptake efficiency beyond what mineral concentration alone can achieve. Application, EC Management and Programme Integration

Use HydroTops Bioponic Hydro Grow throughout vegetative growth in all hydroponic media — clay pebbles, rockwool, DWC and NFT. Begin at 2–3 ml per litre for seedlings and young plants, increasing to 4–6 ml per litre for established vegetative growth. Target EC of 1.2–1.8 mS/cm in veg. Transition to HydroTops Bioponic Hydro Bloom at the flip to flowering. Compatible with HydroTops’ bioponic additive range including Top Heavy Crop and Topsym mycorrhizal supplement. Maintain pH at 5.8–6.2 for optimal nutrient availability in hydroponic media.
