Description

Mills C4 is a premium bloom stimulator and flowering enhancer from Mills Nutrients that we have been recommending to UK growers since 2017 as a core component of the Mills nutrient programme for the flowering phase. C4 is specifically formulated to enhance flower site proliferation, increase flower mass and improve the aromatic and resin profile of the final harvest. It works synergistically with Mills Basis A&B and Mills Ultimate PK to deliver a complete, professional flowering nutrition strategy used by commercial growers across Europe and North America.

What Mills C4 Does During Flowering

C4’s action centres on stimulating the plant’s natural flowering biochemistry — the production of floral hormones, resin precursors and the cellular structures within developing flower sites that will ultimately fill with sugars, oils and terpenes. The formulation contains a blend of naturally derived plant extracts and biostimulants that activate flowering gene expression, promote pistil production and increase the number and density of individual flower calyxes per node. The result is a noticeably fuller, more densely structured canopy of flowers with improved terpene production compared to base nutrient programmes without C4. Mills growers consistently report that C4 is the single additive in the range that produces the most visible difference in flowering density when removed from the programme — a reliable measure of a product’s genuine efficacy.

Application Rate and Mills Programme Integration

Use Mills C4 from week 1 of flowering through to week 6–7 at 0.5–1 ml per litre. It is designed for use alongside Mills Basis A&B as the base nutrient and Mills Ultimate PK from week 4 of flowering for the complete Mills late-bloom programme. Compatible with all growing media — coco, soil, rockwool and DWC — and with most third-party base nutrients if Mills Basis is not in use. Always add nutrients to water, not water to concentrates, and adjust pH to 5.8–6.2 (hydro/coco) or 6.0–6.5 (soil) after all additions.
