AIRLINE PLASTIC MANIFOLD

Description

Airline Plastic Manifold is a multi-outlet air distribution component used to split the output of a single air pump across multiple airstones, DWC buckets, or reservoir oxygenation points in a hydroponic growing system. We have been supplying airline fittings and air system components to UK hydroponic growers since 2017 as practical, low-cost building blocks for effective reservoir and root zone oxygenation setups.

Distributing Air Pump Output Across Multiple Points

A single air pump typically has one or two outlet ports, but most growing systems require oxygenation at multiple points — individual DWC buckets in a recirculating system, multiple airstones in a large reservoir, or separate propagation and flowering system reservoirs running simultaneously. The Airline Plastic Manifold splits a single air line into multiple independent outlets, each with an individual flow control valve that allows you to balance airflow between different system points or shut off individual outlets without affecting the rest of the system.

The plastic construction is lightweight, corrosion-resistant and safe for continuous use in humid grow room environments. Each outlet accepts standard 4mm or 6mm flexible airline tubing, which runs to airstones or directly into your reservoir. The flow control valves on each outlet allow fine adjustment of the air volume reaching each point, compensating for different depths and distances in your system to achieve balanced oxygenation throughout.

System Design and Compatibility

Connect a single air pump output to the manifold inlet and run individual lines from each outlet to your airstones or diffusers. For large systems requiring very high total airflow, connect multiple manifolds in parallel from a higher-output pump or commercial air blower. The plastic manifold suits DWC, RDWC, flood-and-drain, and any reservoir-based system where multiple oxygenation points are needed.
