Description
The 6mm supply hose is the final link in the Autopot feed chain — running from the 9mm secondary line or cross connector into each individual tray. It’s the narrowest tubing in the system and the one most often cut to bespoke lengths as you route from cross connectors to tray positions across a grow room layout.
Sold per metre so you buy what the layout needs. Measure each run from connection point to tray inlet, cut cleanly with scissors or a tube cutter, and push onto the barbed fittings. No clamps needed at the pressures the gravity-fed Autopot system operates at.
Blue is the system’s colour coding for supply lines. Keep lengths consistent between trays where practical — very large differences in line length can affect fill rate slightly, though the AQUAvalve compensates for this in normal operation.
Buying per metre means working out your layout requirements before ordering rather than guessing and coming up short mid-build — measure each intended run from its connection point (a cross connector, T-piece or the 9mm secondary line) to its destination tray, add a small margin for routing around obstacles rather than a perfectly straight line, and total up what the full system needs. It’s worth ordering a little extra rather than exactly the calculated amount, since offcuts are useful for future system expansions or as spares if a section gets damaged. The tubing pushes onto barbed fittings without tools, but a clean, square cut makes for a better seal than a ragged one — a proper tube cutter gives a cleaner result than scissors, particularly on the smaller 6mm diameter where an uneven cut is more likely to create a small leak at the fitting.
Keep a little extra tubing in reserve beyond your calculated total — offcuts are useful for future system expansions, and having spare metres on hand avoids a delay if a run needs replacing after accidental damage.
