AUTOPOT XL 1 POT KIT MODULE WITH FITTINGS (NO TANK)

Description

AutoPot XL 1 Pot Kit Module with Fittings (No Tank) is a large-format single-pot AutoPot module that we have been supplying to UK growers since 2017 for growing large plants in AutoPot’s passive, pump-free irrigation system. The XL module uses the same patented AQUAvalve technology as standard AutoPot units but accommodates larger pot volumes — enabling plants to be grown to full expression in a single large container on the passive feed system without the constraints of smaller standard AutoPot pots. The kit includes all necessary fittings to connect to an existing AutoPot header tank or gravity-fed reservoir — the tank is sold separately, allowing this module to be added to an existing setup or combined with any compatible reservoir.

Why the XL Module Is the Right Choice for Larger Plants

Standard AutoPot modules are designed around 15-litre pots — ideal for plants grown in a SOG (sea of green) style or for shorter vegetative cycles. For growers who run longer vegetative periods, train plants with LST or SCROG techniques to maximise canopy spread, or simply grow strains or varieties that develop large root systems and canopy masses, the larger XL pot volume provides the growing medium capacity that the plant’s root architecture requires. In a larger substrate volume, the wet-dry cycling that is fundamental to healthy AutoPot growing becomes more pronounced — roots have more medium depth to explore between the AQUAvalve-controlled feed cycles, developing the branching and density that maximises nutrient uptake and growth rate. All fittings for connecting to 9mm AutoPot irrigation line are included.

Growing Media, Compatible Nutrients and System Compatibility

Use with coco coir blended with 30% perlite or a suitable soil-based mix that supports capillary rise. Avoid pure clay pebbles. Compatible with all AutoPot system components — connect to any AutoPot gravity-fed header tank using the included 9mm fittings. Run with any compatible nutrient programme including SHOGUN Samurai Coco A&B, CANNA Coco A&B or Plagron Coco Nutrients for optimum coco AutoPot performance.
