Standard wire twist ties bite into soft stem tissue when they are overtightened or when stems expand around them, creating constriction points that interrupt nutrient and water flow and leave the plant vulnerable to pathogen entry. Bendz use a soft, flexible covering over the core wire that distributes pressure evenly across a wider area of stem, preventing constriction even as the stem grows. Training Applications in the Grow Room

Use Bendz for LST (low stress training) by looping one end around the pot rim or a bamboo stake and the other around the main stem or branch, pulling the shoot down towards the horizontal to expose lower nodes to direct light. During SCROG work, Bendz thread through trellis netting to hold branches in position within the squares. For topping recovery, a single Bendz can steady the two new main colas as they grow upright and establish. Remove all ties during late flower to avoid marking buds or restricting the final swell of maturing flowers.
