Growers Ark Root Tonic 10 Litre is a professional root stimulator and root zone health supplement that we have been supplying to UK growers since 2017. Developed by the Growers Ark team with a focus on practical UK growing conditions, Root Tonic delivers a blend of root-stimulating compounds, humic acids and protective agents that drive root development from propagation through to early flowering — building the extensive, healthy root architecture that underpins nutrient uptake capacity and ultimate yield potential. The 10-litre format provides an economical bulk supply for commercial operations or growers running large systems through multiple crop cycles.

The Growers Ark Approach to Root Zone Management

Root Tonic is formulated around the principle that root system quality at the mid-vegetative stage largely determines the ceiling of what a plant can achieve in flowering. A plant with a dense, well-branched root system that fills its container by week 3 of vegetative growth has a fundamentally larger nutrient and water uptake capacity than one whose root development has been slow or restricted. Root Tonic’s humic acid fraction improves the substrate environment around developing roots — increasing oxygen availability, enhancing cation exchange and stimulating the microbial populations that mineralise organic matter near the root surface. The root-promoting compounds drive lateral branching and root hair production, while the protective agents create a biological environment that is hostile to Pythium and other root zone pathogens during the vulnerable establishment phase.

Application Rate and Programme Compatibility

Use Growers Ark Root Tonic at 1–2 ml per litre from first watering of propagation media through to week 2–3 of flowering. Compatible with all growing media — coco, soil, clay pebbles, rockwool and DWC. Integrates cleanly with the Growers Ark nutrient range and with most third-party base nutrients including SHOGUN Samurai and Plagron product lines. Add after base nutrients and before pH adjustment. Pair with a quality base nutrient and SHOGUN Zenzyme enzymatic root zone cleaner for a comprehensive root management programme throughout the crop cycle.
