Description
Hydrotops Bioponic Floral Boost is a concentrated flowering stimulator from Hydrotops, designed to accelerate the onset and intensity of flower production during the transition and early bloom phases of the growing cycle. We have been recommending Hydrotops Bioponic additives to UK cultivators since 2017 as part of a comprehensive, organically enhanced bloom programme that works effectively in soil, coco and hydroponic systems.
Accelerating Flower Initiation and Early Bloom Development
The transition from vegetative growth to flowering is triggered by photoperiod change, but the speed and completeness of this transition — and how quickly plants begin producing new flower sites — can be influenced significantly by targeted nutrition. Hydrotops Bioponic Floral Boost provides a combination of natural flowering precursors, phosphorus-rich organic compounds and plant hormone cofactors that signal the plant to commit fully to flower production rather than continuing mixed growth. The result is faster flower site development, more numerous bud sites and a cleaner transition that reduces the stretch period between flip and full flowering.
The Bioponic formula includes organic kelp extract as a natural source of cytokinins and other plant hormones that directly influence the flower induction response. Combined with the mineral PK fraction, this provides both the hormonal signal and the nutritional substrate that early flower development requires.
When and How to Apply
Introduce Floral Boost from the first day of the 12/12 photoperiod switch through to the end of week three of flowering, when plants should have transitioned fully from vegetative to reproductive growth. Apply at the manufacturer’s recommended rate alongside your Hydrotops base bloom nutrient. From week three, transition to Hydrotops Triple F and Top Heavy Crop to shift focus from flower initiation to flower weight and density accumulation.
Part of the complete Hydrotops Bioponic bloom additive range. Compatible with all growing systems and media. An effective tool for growers who want to maximise the number and quality of flower sites before entering the peak bulk-building phase of flowering.
