PLANT!T pH PEN is the compact, accurate digital pH meter that gives UK hydroponics growers and soil cultivators fast, reliable pH readings at a practical price point. Why pH Measurement Accuracy Matters So Much

Nutrient availability in both hydroponic solution and soil is profoundly pH-dependent. In hydro, the optimal window of 5.5–6.2 keeps all essential macro and micro nutrients in their most soluble, plant-available forms. Move above 6.5 and iron, manganese, and zinc begin to precipitate; drop below 5.0 and calcium and magnesium availability collapses. In soil and coco the optimal range is slightly higher at 6.0–6.8, but the same lockout mechanisms apply. A pH pen that reads consistently within ±0.1 pH units gives you the confidence to correct pH accurately and dial in your solution precisely. Calibration and Care for Your pH Pen

Calibrate your Plant!T pH Pen before first use and at least once per week during active grows using pH 7.0 and pH 4.0 buffer solutions. Allow the electrode to equilibrate in the buffer for 30 seconds before accepting the calibration reading. After each use, rinse the electrode with clean water or dedicated electrode rinse solution and replace the protective cap to keep the electrode moist — a dried-out electrode gives drifting, inaccurate readings. Store with the electrode cap on and a small drop of pH storage solution or pH 7 buffer inside the cap. Replace the electrode annually or when calibration becomes unstable despite fresh calibration solution.
