SHOGUN Dragon Force is a late-stage flowering finisher and ripening stimulator that we have been recommending to UK growers since 2017 as the definitive final-week product in the SHOGUN nutrient programme. Designed for use in the last 1–2 weeks of flowering before the flush, Dragon Force delivers a concentrated blend of potassium, phosphorus and ripening bioactives that push the plant to deliver maximum resin, terpene and essential oil production in the crucial closing phase of the cycle. It is the product that separates a good harvest from an exceptional one.

What Dragon Force Does in the Final Weeks of Flowering

In the final phase of flowering, the plant undergoes accelerated senescence — it begins to relocate nutrients from leaves into the developing flowers and seeds. Dragon Force works with this natural process by providing elevated potassium to drive sugar transport into flower sites while phosphorus supports the final burst of cellular energy and resin development. The ripening bioactives in the formulation signal maturity responses in the plant — triggering trichome ripening, terpene volatilisation and the hardening of calyxes that indicates peak harvest readiness. Used correctly, Dragon Force compresses the ripening window and improves the overall aromatic and visual quality of the final product. We consider it an essential part of any serious late-bloom programme.

How and When to Use SHOGUN Dragon Force

Introduce Dragon Force at 2 ml per litre in the penultimate week of flowering, replacing your usual PK booster. In the final week, increase to 3 ml per litre as a stand-alone additive with your base nutrient at reduced strength. After Dragon Force, transition to a plain water flush for the final 5–7 days before harvest. Dragon Force is compatible with all growing media and all SHOGUN base nutrient ranges. It works best in combination with SHOGUN Sumo Active Boost and SHOGUN PK Warrior 9/18 across the full flowering phase.
