Description
SHOGUN Samurai Terra Bloom is a premium soil-based bloom nutrient that we have been recommending to UK soil growers since 2017. Formulated specifically for use in peat, coco-peat and soil-based growing media, Samurai Terra Bloom delivers the phosphorus-rich, potassium-elevated nutrient profile that flowering plants demand during the reproductive phase — driving flower initiation, site development, flower density and the accumulation of sugars, oils and aromatic compounds that define harvest quality. It forms the backbone of SHOGUN’s soil flowering programme and is engineered with the same attention to mineral chemistry and bioavailability that distinguishes all SHOGUN formulations.
What the Terra Bloom Formulation Delivers in Flowering
During flowering, the plant’s nutritional requirements shift dramatically from the nitrogen-dominant vegetative phase to a phosphorus and potassium-led profile. Phosphorus drives the energy cascade that initiates and sustains flower development — ATP production, cell division and resin synthesis all depend on adequate phosphorus supply. Potassium regulates stomatal function, drives the translocation of photosynthate from source leaves to flowering sinks, and determines the firmness and density of developing flowers. SHOGUN Samurai Terra Bloom delivers both in highly soluble chelated and ionic forms optimised for uptake in the slightly acidic to neutral pH range of soil growing media (6.0–6.8). The formulation also maintains a moderate background nitrogen supply — essential for keeping upper leaves photosynthetically active through the full flowering phase rather than triggering premature senescence.
Feed Schedule and Compatible Additives
Begin Terra Bloom at week 1 of flowering at 2–3 ml per litre, increasing to 4 ml per litre through mid-flower. Reduce to 2 ml per litre in the final 2 weeks and flush with plain water for the last 5–7 days before harvest. Maintain pH 6.0–6.8 in soil. Pair with SHOGUN PK Warrior 9/18 from week 4–5 of flower, SHOGUN Sumo Active Boost throughout, and SHOGUN Dragon Force in the final 1–2 weeks for a complete SHOGUN soil bloom programme.
