Square Saucer for 25 Litre Pot is a purpose-sized drip tray that we have been supplying to UK indoor growers since 2017, designed to fit precisely beneath 25-litre square growing containers. A properly fitting saucer is not merely a convenience item — it is essential for maintaining a clean, hygienic grow room floor, preventing nutrient solution from spreading across the floor and creating slipping hazards, and allowing growers to monitor and manage runoff EC as an indicator of substrate salt accumulation in the growing medium.

Why Saucer Sizing Matters in Professional Growing

Mismatched saucers — too small for the container — allow nutrient solution runoff to overflow onto the floor with every watering. This creates several problems simultaneously: nutrient solution on the floor attracts fungus gnats and other pests, creates slip hazards, and prevents the grower from assessing runoff volume as a proxy for irrigation efficiency. A correctly sized square saucer holds the runoff from each watering event in a contained, visible pool — allowing the grower to observe whether adequate runoff is being generated (target 10–20% of applied volume in run-to-waste coco growing) and to remove or absorb excess solution as needed to prevent standing water. Cleaning, Maintenance and Compatible Containers

Clean saucers between crop cycles with a dilute bleach or hydrogen peroxide solution to remove mineral deposits and any biofilm accumulation. Rinse thoroughly before reuse. Do not allow standing water to remain in saucers for extended periods as this creates anaerobic conditions that promote fungus gnat larvae and root rot pathogen spore germination. Compatible with Wilma 25-litre premium square pots and most standard 25-litre square growing containers. For larger containers, use the appropriately sized saucer to ensure correct fit and runoff containment.
