Description
The ThermoPro TP358 is a wireless digital thermometer and hygrometer designed for accurate, continuous monitoring of temperature and relative humidity in grow rooms, grow tents, propagation areas, and drying rooms. It supports up to three wireless sensors, allowing growers to monitor multiple zones within a growing environment simultaneously from a single display unit — an essential capability when managing canopy temperature, root zone temperature, and intake airflow conditions independently.
VPD — the relationship between temperature and humidity that governs the rate of plant transpiration — needs to sit in a specific range for each growth stage: approximately 0.4-0.8 kPa during propagation, 0.8-1.2 kPa during vegetative growth, and 1.2-1.6 kPa during flowering. Without accurate, real-time temperature and RH data from within the canopy, managing VPD accurately is impossible, and plants operating outside their optimal range show reduced growth rates, increased susceptibility to mould, and reduced yields.
The TP358’s wireless sensor design allows placement at canopy level — the only measurement point that actually represents the conditions the plant is experiencing. Data logging and min/max recording allow growers to review conditions over 24 hours and identify temperature or humidity excursions that might not be visible during routine checks. Available at The Horticulture Company alongside environmental controllers, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, and the full range of grow room climate management equipment.
