At 14 inches, you’re in serious extraction territory. This duct diameter is sized for systems pulling 3,000 to 5,000m³/hr or more — the airflow needed for large commercial tents, multi-light rooms or professional growing operations.
Combi duct gets its name from its construction: aluminium foil bonded to a galvanised steel wire helix. The wire keeps the duct round under negative pressure, which matters because extraction fans create suction that can collapse lighter-gauge ducting and dramatically reduce airflow. The foil provides the airtight skin that carries the air without leakage.
Routing decisions matter at this size. Each 90-degree bend adds resistance equivalent to several metres of straight run. At high airflow rates, unnecessary bends cost you extraction capacity — keep runs as straight as possible and use proper metal bends rather than tightly folded flex where turns are unavoidable.
Supplied as a 10-metre length, compatible with standard 14-inch flanges and jubilee clip connections. Cut to length as needed.
