Description

8 Way Dripper Manifold is a multi-outlet irrigation manifold used to distribute nutrient solution from a single main feed line to up to eight individual drip emitters simultaneously. We have been supplying irrigation components and dripper fittings to UK hydroponic growers since 2017, and a quality dripper manifold is the central distribution point that makes multi-plant drip irrigation systems practical and manageable.

Distributing Flow Evenly Across Multiple Plants

In any dripper-fed growing system, even distribution of nutrient solution across all plants is fundamental to producing uniform growth and consistent results. Running separate lines from your pump directly to each plant creates unequal flow distances and pressures that cause the plants nearest the pump to receive more feed than those at the end of the line. A central manifold positioned equidistant from all plants in your system, with equal-length supply lines running from each outlet to each pot, solves this problem by creating a common pressure point from which all eight outlets receive the same flow conditions.

The 8-way manifold connects to your main 13mm or 16mm supply line on the inlet side and provides eight 4mm barb outlets for micro-irrigation tubing to individual pots. Each outlet can be individually capped or fitted with an adjustable dripper emitter, giving you the flexibility to run fewer than eight plants while keeping the system easily expandable.

Installation and System Design

Mount the manifold centrally within your growing space, ideally at a height that allows gravity-assisted drainage from each supply line back to the manifold when the pump shuts off. Connect 4mm micro-tubing of equal length from each outlet to an Arrow Dripper positioned at the root zone of each plant. For systems with more than eight plants, connect multiple manifolds in parallel from the same main supply line.

Compatible with all standard 4mm micro-irrigation tubing and Arrow Dripper emitters. Pair with a quality submersible pump, timer, and drainage tray system for a complete automated dripper irrigation setup.
