The Truncheon’s design is elegantly simple: dip the probe tip into your nutrient solution and a column of LED lights illuminates to indicate the reading on the EC (mS/cm), CF or PPM 500 / PPM 700 scales. EC Targets and Grow Cycle Application

For seedlings and cuttings, target 0.6–1.0 EC. Vegetative growth typically runs at 1.2–1.8 EC, with full flowering programmes at 1.8–2.4 EC depending on strain and system. During flush, you are looking to approach 0.0 EC or tap water baseline. The Truncheon’s LED scale makes it easy to reference target ranges at a glance without comparing against a printed feeding chart every time.
