Remo Micro is a professional micronutrient and trace element supplement from Remo Nutrients that we have been supplying to UK growers since 2017. Designed as the foundation of Remo’s three-part nutrient system alongside Remo Grow and Remo Bloom, Micro delivers a comprehensive spectrum of secondary and trace elements — including calcium, magnesium, iron, manganese, zinc, copper, boron and molybdenum — in chelated forms optimised for stability and bioavailability across a wide pH range. In any nutrient programme, micronutrient balance is as important as the primary NPK supply: even minor deficiencies in trace elements cause significant disruption to enzyme function, chlorophyll production and overall plant metabolism.

Why Micronutrients Are Foundational to Crop Performance

Trace elements earn their name from being required in tiny quantities — but their roles in plant biochemistry are anything but minor. Iron is essential for chlorophyll synthesis; without it plants become chlorotic even with adequate magnesium. Manganese activates over 35 enzymes involved in photosynthesis and nitrogen metabolism. Zinc regulates auxin production and protein synthesis. Boron controls cell wall formation and sugar transport. Molybdenum enables nitrate reduction — without it, even an abundant nitrogen supply cannot be converted into amino acids. Remo Micro provides all these elements in a single, easily dosed product that eliminates the need for multiple single-element supplements. The chelated forms — EDTA, DTPA and EDDHA depending on element — maintain solubility and availability even at suboptimal pH values that would precipitate unchelated mineral forms out of solution.

Application and Integration with Remo Programme

Use Remo Micro at 1–3 ml per litre throughout all growth stages as part of the three-part Remo system. In the three-part programme, add Micro to water first, then Grow or Bloom, then additives, and adjust pH last. Target pH 5.8–6.2 in hydro/coco, 6.0–6.5 in soil. Combine with Remo Grow and Remo Magnifical during vegetative growth, and with Remo Bloom, Remo AstroFlower and Remo Nature’s Candy during the flowering phase for the complete Remo nutrient programme.
