SMC Spidermite Control 100ml Concentrate is a powerful, targeted miticide formulated to eliminate two-spotted spider mite (Tetranychus urticae) infestations quickly and effectively. Why SMC Works Against Spider Mite

Spider mites reproduce extraordinarily fast — a population can double in under a week under warm, dry conditions typical of indoor grow rooms. By the time visible webbing appears, the population is already in the hundreds or thousands, and a general-purpose pesticide will rarely resolve the problem completely. SMC Spidermite Control uses an active formulation specifically developed for high efficacy against all life stages of the two-spotted spider mite, including the egg stage that many contact-only products miss entirely. The concentrate formula allows the active ingredient to penetrate leaf surfaces and reach mites feeding on the underside of leaves — the primary location where spider mites feed and breed. The 100ml concentrate is economical and makes up a significant volume of ready-to-use spray solution, making it effective for treating even large canopies or multiple plants in a commercial setting.

How to Apply SMC Spidermite Control

Dilute according to label instructions — typically 5–10 ml per litre of water — and apply as a fine spray covering all leaf surfaces, with particular attention to the undersides of leaves where mites are most concentrated. Apply in the evening or during the lights-off period to avoid phytotoxic reactions in high-intensity light environments. Repeat applications at 5–7 day intervals — typically three treatments — to catch newly hatched eggs from the previous cycle. Rotate with a second miticide with a different mode of action to prevent resistance development. Always wear appropriate PPE including gloves and a mask when mixing and applying. Not suitable for use during late flower stage — use preventatively or in vegetative growth and early flowering only.
