Description
The Air Comfort Wireless Temperature and Humidity Sensor is a compact, battery-powered wireless sensor designed to transmit real-time temperature and relative humidity data to a compatible receiver or display unit, providing continuous environmental monitoring at any point within a growing space without the need for cable routing or wall mounting near a power source. The wireless design is particularly practical in grow tents and enclosed growing rooms where routing sensor cables through access ports without compromising the light seal is difficult.
Accurate, continuous temperature and humidity monitoring is fundamental to effective indoor growing. VPD — the key environmental variable governing plant transpiration, stomatal regulation, and susceptibility to mould — requires simultaneous knowledge of both temperature and relative humidity within the canopy zone. A wireless sensor placed at canopy level delivers the measurements that actually matter for VPD management, rather than the ambient room measurement at a fixed wall location that may not represent canopy conditions accurately.
The wireless sensor is designed for use with compatible Air Comfort display units that can receive and display data from multiple sensors simultaneously, allowing growers to monitor conditions at multiple zones from a single display. Battery-powered operation means sensors can be placed at the optimal monitoring point without any compromise for cable routing. Available at The Horticulture Company alongside compatible display units, environmental controllers, and the full range of grow room climate management equipment.
