Description
Air Comfort Wireless Temperature and Humidity Sensor is a remote monitoring device that allows you to track temperature and relative humidity in your grow room from a display unit positioned outside the growing environment — eliminating the need to enter the grow space to check conditions and enabling more frequent monitoring that leads to better climate management. We have been recommending accurate environmental monitoring equipment to UK growers since 2017 as a foundational requirement for consistent, high-performance growing — you cannot manage what you cannot measure.
Why Remote Environmental Monitoring Improves Grow Room Management
Knowing the temperature and humidity inside your grow room in real time — and being able to check it without opening the tent or door — fundamentally changes how well you can manage the growing environment. Most growers without remote monitoring check conditions infrequently, catching problems only when they visit the grow space. Remote monitoring allows you to establish the actual temperature and humidity profiles throughout the full light and dark cycle, identifying issues such as temperature spikes at lights-on, humidity rises during the dark period, or cold-room temperature drops in winter that you would otherwise miss. This data allows intelligent adjustment of fan speeds, timers, and heater settings to achieve genuinely consistent conditions rather than the approximations that guesswork produces. The wireless format means the transmitter sensor can be placed precisely where you want it — at canopy level where conditions actually affect your plants — while the display unit sits conveniently outside the grow space.
How to Set Up the Air Comfort Wireless Sensor
Place the transmitter sensor inside your grow room at canopy height — this position gives the most relevant temperature and humidity reading for plant health assessment. Position the receiver/display unit outside the growing environment in a convenient viewing location. Pair the two units according to the instructions — typically this involves a simple button press to establish the wireless link. Monitor readings at key points in the grow cycle — just after lights-on, at peak temperature midway through the light period, and during the dark period. Use the readings to inform timer and fan speed adjustments to bring conditions into target range. Replace batteries in the transmitter as indicated by the low battery signal.
Pair the Air Comfort Wireless Sensor with an environmental controller, EC fan, and heating equipment for a fully instrumented and actively managed grow room climate system. Browse our full range of environmental monitoring and control equipment.
