AquaKing Q50011 Submersible Pump 10000 L/Hr is a commercial-grade high-volume water pump that we have been supplying to UK professional growing and water management operations since 2017. Where 10,000 L/Hr Becomes Necessary

At commercial scale — multiple grow rooms, tiered growing systems or large greenhouse installations — the combined volume of grow trays and remote reservoirs can reach several thousand litres. Achieving a complete flood cycle in 5–10 minutes across this volume requires a pump delivering 10,000+ L/hr. The Q50011’s output makes rapid, uniform flooding of extensive tray networks possible, ensuring all plants receive nutrient solution in the same irrigation window and eliminating the differential growth effects caused by sequential flooding at lower flow rates. The heavy-duty sealed motor is rated for continuous submersed operation and the ceramic shaft assembly handles the mechanical stress of sustained maximum-output running that would rapidly degrade lighter-duty pumps.

Installation, Electrical Requirements and Maintenance

The Q50011 requires a 25mm minimum outlet bore — use 32mm where possible at this flow rate. Clean the inlet strainer every week in actively growing systems. At 10,000 L/hr, proper timer and electrical circuit sizing is essential — confirm the pump’s power draw against your contactor or timer’s rated current capacity before installation. Must be installed by a qualified electrician where the pump forms part of a fixed commercial electrical installation.
