CANNA FLUSH

Description

CANNA Flush is CANNA’s dedicated flushing and cleansing solution, used in the final one to two weeks before harvest to remove accumulated mineral salts from the growing medium and encourage plants to metabolise their internal nutrient reserves — producing a cleaner, more complete final product that has used up the nutrients it stored during the growing cycle rather than carrying them through to harvest. CANNA Flush is also used during the growing cycle to address salt build-up in growing media that has been accumulating over multiple feeding applications.

The Purpose and Science of Flushing

Over the course of a growing cycle, the regular application of mineral nutrient solutions inevitably leads to some accumulation of unused mineral salts in the growing medium — particularly in the lower portions of the medium that root uptake does not fully access. In the final weeks before harvest, this accumulated salt reserve and the plant’s own stored mineral nutrients can be encouraged to mobilise through a clean-water flush, forcing the plant to draw down its reserves rather than continuing to accumulate new minerals from the nutrient solution. The result is a final product that has undergone a more complete ripening cycle and has metabolised more of its internal mineral content before harvest. CANNA Flush accelerates this process by providing compounds that help dissolve and mobilise accumulated mineral salts in the growing medium, making them available for root uptake and eventual depletion from the system. How to Use CANNA Flush

Use CANNA Flush at 25ml per 10 litres of water for the final one to two weeks of the growing cycle. Apply at each irrigation in place of your normal nutrient solution. Can also be used mid-cycle to address salt accumulation — apply for one to two irrigations at the same concentration, then return to normal nutrient feeding. Compatible with all growing media including soil, coco, and clay pebbles.
