Description

Insulated Ducting 150mm (6″) is acoustically and thermally insulated flexible duct for grow room extraction in the 150mm diameter commonly used with medium-output inline fans for 1.2m x 1.2m to 1.5m x 1.5m grow tent configurations. 150mm Insulated Extraction for Medium Grow Rooms

The 150mm (6-inch) diameter is the step up from the 125mm standard, suited to grow rooms and tents requiring higher airflow volumes while maintaining manageable fan sizes and ducting runs. Fans in the 350–700 m³/hr range at 150mm provide the airflow needed for 1.5m x 1.5m tents with high-output LED or HPS lighting, where heat and humidity management demands are higher than compact setups can place on a 125mm system.

Insulated 150mm ducting provides the same acoustic and thermal benefits as other insulated sizes — absorbing fan and airflow noise transmitted through the duct wall, and preventing heat loss or condensation on the outer duct surface during operation. In grow rooms where the ducting passes through living spaces or along external walls, these thermal and acoustic properties make a practical difference to the installation’s overall performance and acceptability.

Compatibility and Use

Sized for 150mm fan flanges and carbon filter collar connections. Use Fast Clamps and aluminium tape for airtight joints at all connection points. Available in metre lengths to suit your specific ducting run requirements.

Part of the complete insulated ducting range from 100mm to 315mm. Pairs with Systemair RVK or Isomax 150mm fans and matching carbon filters. Available alongside standard Combi flexible ducting for the same diameter if acoustic insulation is not required.
