INSULATED DUCTING 150MM (6″)

Description

Insulated Ducting 150mm (6″) is the most widely used insulated duct size in UK grow room installations, matching the fan and filter flange diameter of the majority of mid-to-large-scale extraction systems used in 1.2m x 1.2m and larger growing tents, purpose-built grow rooms, and loft-based installations. The 6-inch fan size typically delivers 400-800 cubic metres per hour depending on the specific fan model, and the insulated duct format is the correct specification wherever the ducting run passes through temperature-variable or cold spaces.

The insulation layer works in two directions simultaneously: it prevents warm, moist extraction air from losing temperature and condensing as it passes through cold roof spaces or exterior runs; and it prevents heat from the grow room environment transferring into cooled incoming air in intake ducting. Both functions directly improve the efficiency and accuracy of grow room climate management.

Compatible with all standard 6-inch fan and filter connection points from Systemair, RVK, RAM, and most other leading brands. Use with correctly sized fast clamps and seal joints with aluminium foil ducting tape for airtight performance throughout the run.
