Description

Combi Ducting 150mm (6″) is flexible aluminium reinforced duct for medium-output grow room extraction systems using 150mm inline fans. We have been supplying Combi flexible ducting to UK growers since 2017 as a practical, reliable ducting material for grow room ventilation construction across a wide range of tent and room sizes.

150mm Flexible Ducting for Medium-Scale Extraction

The 150mm Combi ducting is the appropriate size for grow rooms and tents requiring airflow in the 350–700 m³/hr range — typically 1.5m x 1.5m or similar-sized spaces with medium-output lighting systems. The spiral aluminium wire construction provides structural rigidity against the negative pressure of an inline fan while remaining flexible enough for easy routing through the grow room and around any obstacles between the carbon filter and the extraction point.

Standard flexible aluminium ducting is the most cost-effective ducting option for most grow room installations and performs reliably in typical indoor growing environments. Unlike some lower-quality flexible products, Combi ducting maintains structural integrity under continuous operation without progressive deformation or spiral wire slippage that could reduce the internal bore of the duct over time.

Installation and Connection

Connect to fan flanges and filter collars using 150mm Fast Clamps, wrapping joints with aluminium foil tape for an airtight seal. Cut to length as needed. Secure horizontal runs every 0.5–1m to prevent sagging — a sagging horizontal duct creates a potential low point where condensed moisture could accumulate. For noise-sensitive applications, specify the 150mm insulated ducting for the same airflow capacity with reduced noise transmission.
