INSULATED DUCTING 200MM (8″)

Description

Insulated Ducting 200mm (8″) is a heavy-duty, thermally insulated flexible duct designed for high-volume air extraction in large grow rooms, commercial growing operations, and industrial ventilation systems. The 200mm diameter accommodates the highest-volume fans used in serious indoor growing, and the thermal insulation layer significantly reduces the condensation and heat-exchange losses that affect uninsulated metal ducting in variable-temperature environments.

The insulated construction consists of three layers: an inner flexible aluminium foil duct providing a smooth, corrosion-resistant airflow surface; a thick mineral wool or foam insulation layer that reduces heat transfer; and a tough outer jacket of reinforced foil or polyester that protects the insulation from moisture and mechanical damage. This three-layer construction reduces both condensation inside the duct and the heat gain that degrades temperature management in climate-controlled growing environments.

The 200mm size connects to the full range of 200mm fan, filter, and connector fittings. Ensure all connections are secured with appropriately sized fast clamps and sealed with aluminium ducting tape to prevent air leakage at joints.
