Description
The divine tree neem (Azadirachta indica) is mainly cultivated in India. Neem has been used extensively by mankind to treat various ailments before the availability of written records which recorded the beginning of history.
Neem oil is extracted from most parts of the Azadirachta Indica tree, but the highest concentration for use is in the seeds. The effective compound is Azadirachin.
The neem oil has a min azadirachtin content of 1500ppm and flows clean and clear. When warm you can see its clarity. It is processed without any chemicals, the oil retains all the nutrients . It is non-toxic to humans, birds, earthworms and animals.
Neem oil is an effective treatment aginst many plant based insects and can be used at a dilution of 1 – 10ml per litre. 5ml per litre is a good concentration to be sprayed (ideally with a wetting agent such as Aqua burst) or a mild liquid soap.
