Description
SHOGUN Geisha Foliar is a premium foliar feed and plant tonic that we have been recommending to UK indoor and outdoor growers since 2017. Designed to be applied directly to the leaf surface as a fine mist, Geisha Foliar delivers a rapid-absorption blend of amino acids, kelp extracts and trace elements that support vigorous vegetative growth, improve stress resilience and enhance the natural lustre and vitality of foliage. When plants are under environmental stress, or when root uptake is compromised, foliar application provides a fast and direct route to nutrient delivery.
Why Foliar Feeding with SHOGUN Geisha Works
Leaves absorb nutrients through stomata — microscopic pores on the leaf surface — and directly through the leaf cuticle. Foliar-applied nutrients bypass root-zone limitations and enter the plant’s vascular system within hours of application, making Geisha Foliar particularly valuable during transplanting stress, deficiency correction, propagation and any period of environmental challenge. The amino acid profile in Geisha supports protein synthesis and chlorophyll production, while the kelp fraction delivers natural cytokinins and auxins that stimulate cell division and shoot development. Regular use results in noticeably darker, thicker, more productive foliage and improved overall plant vigour. We recommend it as a key component in any vegetative growth programme.
How to Apply SHOGUN Geisha Foliar
Dilute at 2–4 ml per litre of water and spray evenly onto all foliage — both upper and lower leaf surfaces — until the point of runoff. Apply during the lights-off period or in low-light conditions to minimise the risk of leaf scorch and to keep stomata open. Do not apply during flowering as foliar sprays can adversely affect flower development. Use once per week during vegetative growth for best results, or more frequently during periods of high stress. Geisha Foliar is compatible with the full SHOGUN nutrient range. Pair with SHOGUN Calmag and SHOGUN Katana Roots for a comprehensive vegetative feed strategy.
